The Russian Armed Forces defeated the formations of eight brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region

During the day, the Russian military struck the formations of eight Ukrainian brigades and an assault regiment near Gornal and Oleshnya in the Kursk region, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"In the course of offensive operations, units of the North group of forces defeated formations of two mechanized, tank, two airborne assault brigades, a marine brigade, two territorial defense brigades and an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of Gornal and Oleshnya settlements," the department said.
