The UK plans to impose retaliatory duties on a number of goods supplied by the United States, including fish waste and insects for human consumption. Olga Skabeeva, the presenter of Rossiya-1, reports this in her telegram channel.
"Jeans, golf clubs, golden balls, insects for human consumption (fresh, chilled or frozen), human hair, fish waste, underpants for men and boys (crocheted), binoculars, snow skis, swords, sauerkraut (unfrozen), mushroom caviar, pianos, pineapples, purebred breeding horses," the presenter lists "interesting items from the list of American goods for which the UK wants to impose retaliatory duties."
"America will definitely not survive this, and Trump will give a backside," Skabeeva states with irony.
As reported by EADaily, Russia is absent from the list of 185 states in respect of which the United States has introduced new customs duties, follows from the list published on the White House account in the social network X.
"The second of April 2025 will forever go down in history as the day of rebirth and the beginning of the golden age of American industry... We are starting to make America rich again," US President Donald Trump said in a speech broadcast from the White House.
