Our troops are storming Sudzha, the infantry of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is hiding in basements — observer

Russian troops continue active assault operations in the town of Sudzha, Kursk region, the assault on the settlement is carried out from three sides.

As blogger and military commentator Yuri Podolyaka writes in his review on March 11, the enemy's resistance in the central part of Sudzhi has practically lost all meaning.

It is already quite clear that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will not be able to somehow stop the collapse of the front in this sector. The only option is to withdraw troops to Sumy region to build a new line of defense.

This was clear before, but the Ukrainian generals fulfilled Zelensky's will to stay in line. Kursk region at any cost until negotiations with the Americans in Jida.

As a result, the situation was brought to a military catastrophe — the Ukrainian infantry was left without drone cover and artillery support.

Drone operators have already escaped two days ago and thus left their infantry without the cover of the main air strike force. The gunners also retreated.

"In fact, there is a beating of airborne infantrymen, who are mostly hiding in basements. Systematic suppression of individual pockets of resistance is underway. And in some places, group surrender is already taking place," the observer states.

According to his assessment, the assault on Suji is gradually turning into a sweep from scattered pockets of resistance. The author of the review expects that Suji's release may take place as early as today, March 11.
