People's Artist of Russia Alexandra Zakharova returns to the theater "Lenkom Mark Zakharov", including the play "Cherry Orchard". This was announced by the new artistic director of the theater Vladimir Pankov.
According to him, now he meets in detail with each actor of the theater, trying to reach mutual understanding.
"Yesterday I met with Alexandra Markovna Zakharova. We had a creative and sincere conversation. I can inform you that Zakharova is returning to the Lenkom Theater," Pankov told RIA Novosti.
As reported, in mid-January Zakharova announced that she had been "removed" from the theater after the People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Pevtsov.
"I was informed that I, too, should no longer be on the stage of Mark Zakharov's Lenkom. There will be no more performances with me, so I was informed from the director's department of the directorate. I served in the theater for 42 years ...", — said the actress.
Earlier, Pevtsov said that Pankov invited him to return to the theater, calling this information "joy and great news."
