The daughter of the late artistic director of Lenkom Mark Zakharov, People's Artist of Russia, theater and film actress Alexandra Zakharova said that she was "removed" from the theater after Dmitry Pevtsov.
"I was informed that I, too, should no longer be on the stage of Mark Zakharov's Lenkom. There will be no more performances with me, so I was informed from the director's department of the directorate. I served in the theater for 42 years ... " — quotes the actress News.ru .
Zakharova called the tendency to remove artists from the theater, which the audience attended, amazing.
"Probably, the theater is in some kind of deep crisis. That's probably all I can say," Zakharova concluded.
As EADaily reported, Dmitry Pevtsov, who worked in the theater for 33 years, told the day before that he would no longer appear on the stage of Lenkom.
"Finally, after almost two months of uncertainty, clarity has come: the state—funded cultural institution Lenkom Mark Zakharov Moscow Theater no longer needs my services," the actor emphasized.
Moreover, Pevtsov noted that no one officially informed him, just his photo was removed from the wall in the lobby of the Lenkom.
