With the coming to power in In the United States, the Republican Party has chances that the hot phase of the Ukrainian conflict may soon end. This was stated at a meeting of the UN Security Council by Russia's permanent representative to the world Organization Vasily Nebenzya.
"We all see what processes are taking place in the world today after the republican administration in the United States came to power. As we have been calling for over the past many months, diplomacy has finally become actively involved in the game. There are chances that the hot phase of the Ukrainian crisis may soon end," Nebenzia said, quoted by RIA Novosti.
The Permanent Representative also stressed that Ukraine has irretrievably lost not only Crimea, but also Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, as well as Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, which became part of Russia.

And the settlement parameters that we are discussing now will seem like an impossible dream to the Ukrainian authorities after a while. The same as the Minsk agreements that were thwarted by the Kiev regime today," Nebenzia stressed.
As reported by EADaily, negotiations between Russia and The United States will be held in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday without the participation of third countries. This was stated to journalists today by Presidential Aide for International Affairs Yuri Ushakov.
