The politician recalled that two years ago Germany bought cheap gas through the Nord Stream consortium. Sanctions cause enormous damage to the country and lead to the highest energy prices in the world, which, in turn, reduces the competitiveness of Germany.

In addition, Weidel accused the German authorities of unleashing a "spiral of escalation" in relations with Russia, using verbal, financial and military measures. According to her, German tanks are moving towards Russia again, which causes her concern because it ignores the lessons of history since the Second World War.

On the eve of the representative of the "Alternative for Germany" met with US Vice President JD Vance, where the current situation on the In Ukraine, the internal policy of Germany, as well as the so-called "firewall against the right", which prevents the inclusion of parties such as the AfD in the ruling coalition.
