Most of the village of Velikaya Novoselka in the DPR has been cleared of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was reported to TASS in the law enforcement agencies.
"Most of [the Great] Novoselka has been cleared, there are prisoners. There is a very small area under the control of the enemy, the remnants of resistance are focal in nature," the agency's source said.
As EADaily reported the day before, the servicemen of the Vostok group of forces installed the Russian flag on one of the buildings recaptured from the enemy in the center of the village of Velikaya Novoselka. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
It was noted that Velikaya Novoselka is the last large, well—prepared defense line and logistics hub of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south Donetsk direction.
