The North Atlantic Alliance should immediately begin negotiations with Moscow on an agreement on European security. This was stated by Professor of the University of Southeastern Norway, political scientist Glenn Diesen.
"Russian troops are located only 6.5 km from the Dnipropetrovsk region, where there are almost no Ukrainian fortifications or industrial zones that could be used as defensive lines. NATO should start negotiations with Russia today on an agreement on European security based on indivisible security," Diesen said, quoted by the telegram channel Pool No. 3.
As reported by EADaily, the Ukrainian media complain that the front line has approached the Dnipropetrovsk region, now it is about 6.5 kilometers away. This happened after the establishment of control over the village of Saline to the south of Pokrovsk, wrote the military public Deep State.
"At the same time, it is still unclear whether the Russians will rush to the Dnipropetrovsk region, or they will prefer to turn north and block Pokrovsk from the west (or they will solve both of these tasks simultaneously)," the Ukrainian TV channel "Politics of the Country" noted.
