Kurakhovo has actually been lost, and now it is necessary to withdraw the remaining forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in this direction. This was written by the editor-in-chief of the Ukrainian edition "Censor" Yuri Butusov.
"The city of Kurakhovo is actually lost. Our soldiers heroically defend the industrial zone on the outskirts of Kurakhovo, the thermal power plant and a very narrow wedge through which all logistics for several brigades are carried out under constant enemy fire," he writes.
According to him, defense in such conditions is unprofitable for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since "the tactical advantage is on the side of the enemy."
"We are losing people in battles with an enemy who has overall superiority in forces. All the commanders on the ground say: "Do not erase the troops to zero, give the opportunity, while there is still combat capability, to withdraw to a convenient line of defense, turn around there in advance, cover the flanks, reduce our losses and increase the losses of the enemy," Butusov writes further.
In his opinion, the decision to withdraw the Armed Forces of Ukraine to advantageous positions now would be fully justified by the situation.
