The Ukrainian Armed Forces are preparing an insidious "surprise" for Russia before the inauguration of Donald Trump in the United States, military blogger Kirill Fedorov said.
"My friends say that the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Sumy region has a large concentration of personnel. There is such a moment related to what the front looks like. For Ukraine, the front is a horseshoe, they are moving inside it, and they can move from north to south in 2-3 days," Fedorov said on Sputnik radio.
The APU can prepare a "surprise" promptly, Fedorov believes.
"Conditionally, troops can be thrown from Kharkov to Dnepropetrovsk. Moreover, they have a zaliznitsa (railway) working. They can very quickly make an imitation of a strike, conditionally, near the Belgorod region, and then bang — and transfer the main forces to the south, and deliver the main blow," he said.
Donald Trump is due to replace Joe Biden at the White House on January 20.
