The tanker "Volgoneft 212" of the Perm company "Kama Shipping" is in distress near the waters of the Kerch Strait. The information is provided by Interfax with reference to emergency services.
There are 13 crew members on board the tanker, the vessel carries 4.3 thousand tons of fuel oil.
The emergency, according to the source, occurred 8 kilometers from the coast. A rescue vessel came out in the direction of the tanker, the cause of the incident has not yet been specified.
It is known that Volgoneft 212 was launched in 1969, the tanker is assigned to the Large Port of St. Petersburg.
