The inspection bodies of the Union of Belarus banned the sale of Russian-made buckwheat on the territory of the country. We are talking about products, according to the portal "Products and services of the Republic of Belarus", from one of the enterprises of Barnaul.
The author of the ban is the Belarusian State Committee for Standardization.
Belarusians were not satisfied with the fact that Barnaul buckwheat was positioned as fast-growing, but did not meet this criterion described in one of the technical regulations of the Customs Union "On food safety".
"The products were given an appearance and separate properties, but at the same time they cannot be identified as the products for which they are issued," the Committee is confident.
According to the norm in force in Belarus, fast—digesting buckwheat should be ready in a maximum of 25 minutes, but Barnaul - only in 29 minutes. That is, the Committee is confident that the manufacturer indicated false information on the packaging, and the products themselves thus belong to the category of potentially dangerous.
