On Monday, the authorities again raised Eurofighter fighters to intercept two US Air Force aircraft. At the same time, after that, the American planes turned around and returned to Munich. However, it is still unclear whether the planes crossed Austrian airspace on Monday without permission to fly.
Recall that Austria is a neutral state. She pledged not to join military alliances in accordance with the Neutrality Act of 1955. Therefore, the presence of foreign troops in Austria is also prohibited.
