Actress Liya Akhedzhakova in the role of Tanya in Eldar Ryazanov's cult comedy "The Irony of Fate, or With a Light Steam" was offered to be replaced with the help of a neural network by Lisa Boyarskaya. A certain social activist Elena Krait turned to the Ministry of Culture of Russia with a corresponding initiative.
"After the outspoken support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it's at least unpleasant to look at the actress in the cult New Year's comedy, under which everyone is cutting salads and waiting for the president's speech with the chimes," the Shot telegram channel publication says.
A small video clip of this picture is attached to the publication in a modified form.
Recall, a similar initiative was discussed a year earlier, when Akhedzhakova awkwardly made excuses for the incident with the Ukrainian flag. The general director of Mosfilm, director Karen Shakhnazarov, then said "his weighty word," promising that "the tape will remain in its original version." He stressed that it does not matter who said what. The words of actresses do not matter "in world history."
"And the film lives. We don't have any hints about changing the film. And it will never be, because I personally think that this is a big stupidity," Shakhnazarov summed up.
As EADaily reported, at the performance in Los Angeles "My grandson Benjamin" based on the book by the writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya *, the audience approached Akhedzhakova with flowers. Handing the actress a bouquet, one of the donors thanked the 86-year-old actress "for Ukraine."
She, without blinking, said with a smile: "Glory to Ukraine."
After the video of the incident spread on social networks, the head of the Federal Security and Anti-Corruption Project, Vitaly Borodin, said that an adequate response to the actress would be a ban on entry into Russia for a period of 50 years.Activists of the movement "Forty Magpies" sent an appeal to the Ministry of Justice of Russia demanding that Akhedzhakova be stripped of the title of People's Artist of Russia and recognized as a foreign agent.
