Actress Liya Akhedzhakova concluded one of her performances in Los Angeles with the pro-Ukrainian slogan "Glory to Ukraine." The video recording of the artist's words was published by the telegram channel Mash.
After the performance "My Grandson Veniamin" based on the book by the writer Lyudmila Ulitskaya ❶, the audience approached the stage with flowers. Presenting Akhedzhakova with a bouquet, one of the donors thanked the 86-year-old actress "for Ukraine."
She, without blinking, said with a smile: "Glory to Ukraine."
As EADaily reported, a year earlier, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Moscow initiated an inspection against Akhedzhakova under the article on discrediting the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation. The inspection was launched in connection with the appeal of the head of the Federal Project on Security and Anti-Corruption Vitaly Borodin.
The reason for his appeal was a video recording from the play "My Grandson Benjamin" in the German city of Bremen on June 27. At the end of the production, Akhedzhakova went on stage with the flag of Ukraine and, according to the applicant, thereby committed an act discrediting our army.
The actress herself later justified herself through the media. She told reporters that the Ukrainian flag was handed to her along with flowers by some "provocateur" whom she did not remember. Akhedzhakova stated that she thought at all, "as if it were a scarf."
However, given the well-known aggressive position of the actress in relation to SMO and her sympathy for the Kiev regime, this version did not look well-off.
