Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili arrived at the venue of the protest action in the center of Tbilisi, reports Interpress.ge .
She accused the authorities of carrying out a "constitutional coup" and called on representatives of the diplomatic corps of the EU countries to help her and the opposition to achieve the appointment of new parliamentary elections in the country.
The rally began on the evening of November 28 near the headquarters of the ruling Georgian Dream party, then the protesters moved to Rustaveli Avenue and approached the parliament building.
Clashes broke out on the spot between law enforcement officers and protesters. Special forces also arrived there.
