Zakharova: "The main thing is that Kiev does not hit the French embassy with SCALP missiles"

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, recommended that the Kiev regime not hit the French Embassy after receiving 10 long-range SCALP missiles allocated by the order of the French Minister of the Armed Forces, Sebastien Lecorny.

The diplomat at the briefing drew attention to the publication in the British press about the intention of the country's Prime Minister Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron to try to convince the current US President Joe Biden to allow Storm Shadow missiles to strike deep into Russia before the inauguration of the elected American leader Donald Trump. It was noted that in London there are hopes that the White House will agree to such a step.

"On the same day, in an interview with a French newspaper, the head of the French Defense Ministry, Sebastien Lecorny, announced an order he had signed regarding the transfer of about 10 long-range SCALP missiles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the help of which, so hopefully, in Paris, the Kiev regime will be able to strike behind the front lines.
