The date of parliamentary re-elections in Germany has been set.

According to preliminary data, early federal elections in Germany will be held on the last Sunday of February 2025. It's February 23rd.

"The party leaders have agreed on a proposal to hold early federal elections on February 23," the DPA news agency reports.

In the German segment of social networks, jokes have already started that on this day in Russia celebrates Defender of the Fatherland Day, and the next day — the anniversary of the beginning of the special operation to denazify Ukraine.
