Kurakhovskaya dam of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was undermined in a timely manner — Melnik

The dam of the Kurakhovsky reservoir was blown up to protect the northern flank of the Kurakhovsky fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was stated by Ukrainian military expert Mykola Melnyk.

"The dam near Kurakhovo was undermined in a timely manner. This was necessary to ensure the defense of the northern flank of the Kurakhovsky fortified area. But now the Russians will do everything to break through to Constantinople from the south to surround our grouping of troops. In fact, they need to cover 8 km, and maybe less," he writes on social networks.

As EADaily reported, the dam of the Kurakhovsky reservoir on the Volchaya River was damaged, the water level within the Velikonovoselkovskaya community rose by 1.2 meters. This was reported by the occupation Donetsk OVA.
