An offer for the sale of a painting by Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) "A Clay pot with chrysanthemums" appeared on the Russian free classifieds portal. The seller clarifies that the painting was painted in the summer of 1886.
The owner added that now the canvas is in Berlin, and it would be great if someone was in Europe.
Documents confirming the authenticity of the work are promised to be provided upon prior request.
"The painting is estimated at € 30 million," the seller assures.
The price of the masterpiece is 2 billion rubles. The seller is located in St. Petersburg.
As EADaily reported, in August of this year, an offer for the sale of a painting by Claude Monet (1840-1926) "Wheat Field" (Champ de ble) was published on the portal of the Remote Bidding Center.
The description of the lot specified that this is an original genuine work of art from a private collection. It is stored in a closed depository in Moscow.
The initial price was 1,039 billion rubles.
