Polish police have detained two Ukrainian citizens suspected of murdering their compatriot.
The incident occurred in the town of Sosnowiec, in the Silesian voivodeship. A 35-year-old citizen of Ukraine died as a result of wounds inflicted by knives. Suspects in the murder were detained in hot pursuit. They turned out to be compatriots who had not previously met their victim.
The detainees are 26 and 46 years old. According to the prosecutor's office, the deceased has a monstrous mortal wound (which may indicate the special skills of the killer. — EADaily).
"The victim has a stab wound of great force in the area of the shoulder blade, reaching the lung, as well as cuts on the neck. Any of them would have led to death," prosecutor Michal Lukasik quotes the media.
Nothing is reported about the motives of the crime, but in the comments to the news, the Poles suggest that the Ukrainians did not share political issues. An indirect sign of this is the fact that comments are disabled on the official police channel on YouTube in the story about the capture of Ukrainians.
