The commander of the Pyatnashka brigade, Ahra Avidzba (Abhaz), assessed the situation in the Kursk region and in the area of the city of Chasov Yar, where the brigade fighters are fighting.
"Our division is located in the Artemivsk direction — Chasov Yar and also in the Kursk region. We can afford to be in several directions, as the detachment is not small," Avidzba told reporters during the All—Russian educational forum "Young South" on November 3.
According to the commander, the situation in the area of responsibility of his unit is "favorable."
"Of course, there can be nothing favorable in the war, but when the enemy incurs large expenses in forces and means, you understand that this is favorable… Previously, we predicted that the war would last for some time - then they cut it in half by going to Kursk."
