A new self-propelled artillery piece (SAO) "Lotus" and a smoke screen "Rainbow" were tested in the special operation zone.
A high degree of mobility allows the Lotus to effectively perform tactical tasks on the battlefield. The tool was developed at the Central Research Institute of Precision Engineering. If approved, it will become a replacement for the Nona self-propelled artillery gun. The video from the tests, which is published by Channel Five, captures the shooting process.
The special supply "Rainbow" creates, in turn, a smoke screen that helps to hide the movement of equipment and provides additional protection from enemy observation, making it difficult for him to aim and fire. Such capabilities significantly increase the effectiveness of the combat vehicle and its survival rate.
