The Ukrainian authorities are preparing a bill on the forced evacuation of residents of towns and villages located near the line of combat. This is reported by People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Mariana Bezuglaya.
We are talking, among other things, about the cities of Pokrovsk, Kurakhovo, Mirnograd, Kupyansk and Konstantinovka.
"Pokrovsk, Mirnograd, Kurakhovo, Konstantinovka, Kupyansk — leave while there is such an opportunity!.. We are preparing a bill from the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the forced evacuation of the population," Bezuglaya writes in her telegram channel.
She recommends that residents of cities and villages located less than ten kilometers from the line of combat collision leave.
Bezuglaya at the same time stated that "civilian shootings are taking place in Selidovo." The deputy left the question of who exactly was shooting civilians open, but added that Russian troops had already occupied the city.
As reported by EADaily, Ukrainian servicemen are shooting at civilians who are trying to leave the city of Chasov Yar, where fighting is taking place, under a white flag.
The video of the evacuation attempt was at the disposal of RIA Novosti.
"The Ukrainian Armed Forces are targeting civilians with a white flag coming out of Chasova Yar in the DPR, who are being escorted out by Russian fighters of the Yug group," the agency comments on the footage.
