The winner of two Academy Awards, actor, director, screenwriter and producer Mel Gibson told who he will vote for in the US presidential election in two weeks. TMZ reporters caught the star at Los Angeles airport.
When asked who he would vote for, the artist first laughed, and then noted that this is not a secret.
"Will you vote for Trump?" the correspondent asked.
"Good guess," Gibson responded.
He did not answer the question of what America will be like under Trump. However, he expressed confidence that Kamala Harris's victory would not bring anything good to the country.
"I know what the world will be like if we let Kamala in… It's going to be bad. There will be no politics," the star believes.
Mel Gibson added that "she has a pillar IQ" and a "terrifying track record."
As reported by EADaily, according to a poll by The Wall Street Journal, at the moment the US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, is beating his rival from the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris, by 2 percentage points.
47% of respondents were ready to vote for Trump against 45% for Harris. Another 2% expressed support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who had previously withdrawn his candidacy and supported Trump. The remaining 3% did not express confidence in any of the candidates.
At the same time, when offered to choose only two candidates, Trump increased the margin to 3% - 49% of respondents expressed their willingness to vote for him, 46% for Harris.
The US presidential election will be held on November 5.
