Specialists are working to restore the operability of the Internet resources of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in connection with a large-scale DDoS attack on them. This was stated by the official representative of the diplomatic department Maria Zakharova.
"Due to a large-scale DDoS attack on the Internet platforms of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, we are postponing the briefing to 14.00 Moscow time. The website does not open from mobile devices and so on," the diplomat told TASS.
"Specialists are working to restore the working capacity of resources," Zakharova stressed.
The briefing of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry was scheduled for 10.00 Moscow time, however, the website of the Foreign Ministry, where the event is usually broadcast, has stopped opening, TASS reports.
