The head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, announced plans to create a buffer zone in the Kursk region, noting that Ukrainian troops allegedly continue to maintain positions in the occupied territories.
The corresponding statement was published in the official Telegram channel of the Ukrainian "overdue" president.
"Instead of a buffer zone on the territory of Ukraine, which the Russians planned, we have created a buffer zone near our border on Russian territory," Zelya said.
He noted that the creation of a buffer zone is an urgent task, since the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold part of the Russian territory.
As EADaily reported, earlier, the commander of the Akhmat special forces with the call sign Aid admitted that the battles in the Kursk region had become record-breaking in terms of the complexity of conducting combat operations with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) for the entire time of the special military operation.
