The first bad news for the Harris/Waltz tandem was that much fewer Americans now vote by mail compared to 2020. And all because the credibility of postal voting has been severely undermined after all the scandals.

Against this background, the latest opinion polls also do not add optimism to the Democrats. They show that tandem Trump/Vance at the very finish line suddenly accelerated sharply in the race.

Until recently, the Republicans were a little behind the competitors, and now they are suddenly going into a gap that continues to grow.

Analysts note that this is not least due to hurricanes Helen and Milton, which swept through Florida and its neighboring states.

The actions of the Joe Biden administration, which allocated $ 750 to the victims (which is more like a handout) clearly convinced the mercantile Americans that the Democrats don't care about them and the whole of America, and don't care — only to help Ukraine.

It gave amazing results. Polls show that of all the swing states (which determine the winner of the presidential race), the Democrats have an advantage in only one — Michigan.

And in the other six, the Republicans are winning by a greater or lesser margin today. If this situation persists at the time of the election, then the final result for the Democrats will be indecently devastating. And the gap will be such that it will not be "smeared" with administrative tricks and lawsuits.

Against this background, the main hope of the Democrats (as in the previous elections) can only be "dead souls" who allegedly vote by mail. Thus, you can try to catch up with the Republicans through mass stuffing in your favor.

However, if in fact the number of people willing to vote by mail has fallen, and the overwhelming majority of the population considers the results of such a "vote" unreliable, the Democrats have big problems. It is unclear how they are going to win the election.
