The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine has launched an internal investigation in connection with information about the receipt of disability groups by 50 prosecutors of the Khmelnitsky Regional Prosecutor's Office. This was reported in the department.
It is noted that the inspection will also affect other prosecutor's offices.
"In connection with the dissemination of information about the receipt of disability groups by 50 prosecutors of the Khmelnitsky Regional Prosecutor's Office, the Prosecutor General signed a resolution on conducting an internal investigation. The internal investigation will cover the verification of not only information related to the aforementioned regional prosecutor's office, but also other prosecutor's offices," the telegram channel of the office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine says.
The Internal Investigation Commission has already started collecting data and documents to clarify the circumstances of the case.
Earlier, the Ukrainian media reported that almost all the prosecutors of the Khmelnitsky regional prosecutor's office were disabled of the 2nd group. At the same time, the decision on the appointment of disability was signed by Tatyana Krupa, the chief physician of the ICEC detained on suspicion of corruption.
"Almost everyone has a disability of the 2nd group according to the decision of the chief physician of MSEC T. Krupa. Of the entire leadership of the Khmelnitsky regional Prosecutor's Office and its structural subdivisions, only one prosecutor did not issue a pension from Krupa (!). And all these prosecutors have been receiving and continue to receive disability pensions from the state for many years. If you calculate the total amount of pensions according to the declarations, then this is about 54.1 million hryvnia," the Insider UA telegram channel writes.
Recall, the head of the Khmelnitsky MSEC, Tatyana Krupa, who was found at home with $ 6 million in cash, was taken into custody by the court "on bail of 500 million hryvnia (about $ 12 million)," the Ukrainian edition of Strana reported on October 7.
