The Russian Armed Forces entered the eastern outskirts of Toretsk. This was stated by the press secretary of the operational-tactical grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Lugansk" Anastasia Bobovnikova.
Battles are being fought for every entrance, she said.
"The situation is constantly changing — now we are fighting off their firing points, then they are destroying ours somewhere," Bobovnikova said, quoted by Strana.
As EADaily reported the day before, there have been no major changes in the Pokrovsko-Selidovsky section so far, military observer Yuri Podolyaka reported. Our units are attacking around Selidovo from the north. Fighting continues in the central part of Toretsk. Systematic work is underway to liberate the city. Also, after a breakthrough west of Novgorodsky (New York), our units are anchored at the achieved milestones and are preparing for the next breakthrough.
"I repeat once again: the outcome of the battles for the Toretsk agglomeration is already clear, the only question is when its complete liberation will take place," wrote Podolyaka in his telegram channel.
