White House press Secretary Karin Jean-Pierre, who has long been called "The Housekeeper Kuzya" in Russian social networks because of her stupidity and external resemblance to the cartoon character, was promoted to senior adviser to the US president.
"Karin Jean-Pierre has been appointed senior adviser to the president," the ABC News channel said in a statement, referring to the administration of Joe Biden.
It is noted that now she occupies a place among such close advisers to the president as Steve Richetti and Mike Donilon. The appointment should demonstrate "Biden's faith in her and his desire to surround himself with people who are different from each other, representing different generations."
As ABC News notes, Karin Jean-Pierre is the first press secretary in many years who concurrently holds the post of senior adviser. She will continue to represent the White House until the end of Biden's term.
