German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok broke her third heel on a trip abroad. This is reported by the telegram channel "Bild in Russian"❶.

It is noted that during the break between the meetings of the UN General Assembly in In New York, Annalena Burbok went with her Canadian colleague Melanie Joly to one of the local cafes. On the way, a German woman broke the heel of her right shoe on the treacherous New York sidewalk.

A Bild columnist called New York's uneven sidewalks a "heel killer." In July 2023, a similar story happened to Burbok there. Later, she broke her heel at the UN Climate Change conference, which was held in Dubai.

The head of the German Foreign Ministry noted that the thesis of social media users is clear to her that the conflict on Ukraine could have ended faster if Europe had stopped arming Kiev. She also assured that she was aware of the citizens' dissatisfaction with the increase in prices for food and other goods. However, the termination of support for Ukraine would mean the risk of the spread of conflicts, and the June summit in Switzerland "showed the impossibility of an agreement" between Moscow and Kiev, Berbok said.
