Honored Artist of Russia SHAMAN (Yaroslav Dronov) returned a fee of 15 million rubles for a failed concert in Stavropol. This is reported by the Baza telegram channel with reference to a letter from the prosecutor's office.
"According to the letter of the prosecutor's office, SHAMAN returned all the money paid. An additional agreement on termination of the contract was signed between the regional Philharmonic and the artist's representatives," the publication says.
The contract for the concert was signed on August 12 of this year, on September 18, funds in the amount of 15.3 million rubles were transferred to the budget of the Stavropol Territory.
As reported by EADaily, in Stavropol, local authorities launched a survey on the celebration of the Day of the region and On the City Day, the majority of the voting participants chose the following option: "It's not the time for big holidays, entertainment events should be canceled, programs should be reduced" — 81% of the votes.
The remaining 19% of respondents believe that "all activities should be carried out in full."
As a result, the authorities curtailed the festive program, canceling, among other things, the SHAMAN concert.
