This was stated by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin at a meeting of the contact group on Ukraine at the American Ramstein airbase in Germany.
"Meanwhile, the United States, with the assistance of a number of European companies, together with Ukraine, is developing and creating a replacement for the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system, as well as the R—27 air-to—air missile," he said, according to TASS.
