Ukrainian drones have reached the Kirov region. One UAV has just hit a tank with oil products in the city of Kotelnich, regional Governor Alexander Sokolov said on Telegram.
"A few minutes ago, a UAV arrived in Kotelnich. The drone attacked a tank for storing petroleum products," he writes.
According to him, the situation is under control. There was no fire after the UAV attack. The head of the city of Kotelnich Oleg Ismailov and specialized services are working at the scene of the incident. There are no casualties.
As EADaily reported, earlier today, after the attack of the Ukrainian UAVs, a fire broke out at a fuel depot in the Rostov region.
Kotelnich is located on the banks of the Vyatka River, 84 km southwest of the regional center of Kirov. The city is a water and railway junction connecting the Northern and Gorky railways. The most important road routes are the routes to Kirov, Sovetsk, Yaransk and Darovskaya. It is located at the intersection of federal highways R-176 "Vyatka" and R-243 Kostroma — Sharya — Kirov — Perm.
