Punishment for Kursk — the destruction of the AFU grouping plus resignations at the General Staff — poll

Almost half of the participants (47.2%) of the EADaily survey "How will Putin punish for Kursk?" believe that the punishment will be to destroy the AFU grouping, which is currently located in the Kursk region. In second place (33.9%) are those who are confident that Russian President Vladimir Putin will dismiss the generals along with Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov.

By a wide margin from the first two answers, the version "Will give the order to shoot down American reconnaissance aircraft" follows (8.2%). It is followed by "Liquidates Zelensky, Budanov and others" — 6.4%. In last place, the option "Will strike at Bankova" is believed by 4.3% of survey participants.

The survey will be conducted from 23 to 26 August 2024. 8439 people voted.

It should be noted that today it became known about a massive strike on the energy infrastructure and military facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the consequences of which are still unknown for sure. Some of the media have already declared them "Russia's response to the Ukrainian Armed Forces offensive in the Kursk region."
