Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk direction are being relocated to launch an attack in a new area, but Russian forces are controlling the situation. This was stated by the deputy head of the Main Military-political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, commander of the special forces "Akhmat" Apty Alaudinov today, August 19.
"We have a controlled situation. Yesterday was a very difficult day, there were several waves of rolling from the enemy. Most of the enemy that attacked yesterday has been destroyed. Part of his equipment was destroyed. To date, we feel that the enemy is being relocated in order to try to come in from the other side," TASS quoted the commander as saying.
According to Alaudinov, Russian units "are ready to meet the enemy, no matter what he does."
The Akhmat special forces repulsed several waves of enemy attacks in the Kursk border region during the day, Alaudinov noted earlier. He also said that many Ukrainian troops were killed in all areas. According to him, the Kiev regime is no longer driving equipment in such quantities as it was at first.
