Fire at an oil depot in Proletarsk of the Rostov region has reached such a scale that it can already be seen from space. The corresponding photos appeared on social networks, the media resource 1RnD reports today, August 19.
According to the fire tracking map of the Aerospace Monitoring Research Institute "Aerospace", two foci were recorded on the territory of the oil storage facility. One of them was formed at 23.29 on August 18, and the second at 10.38 on August 19. The difference between the ignitions is 11 hours. The authorities and emergency services of the Rostov region do not disclose details of what is happening at the scene.
By the evening of August 19, 41 rescuers were injured in the fire, and five of them are in intensive care. At the same time, the authorities consider the situation safe for the residents of Proletarsk and do not plan evacuation.
And in Meanwhile, an additional medical team arrived to help the wounded. Recall, on the night of August 18, after the attack of two drones in Tanks with diesel fuel broke out in Proletarsk. The fire is still not localized. Three fire trains are involved in extinguishing.
