The fighters of the Issa Pliev regiment, which united the Ossetian detachments participating in the SMO, expressed respect to the head of the Kursk region, who recognized the complexity of the situation in the region.
"Respect and respect on behalf of the fighters of the acting governor of the Kursk region Alexei Smirnov, who honestly and openly told about what is happening," the regiment said in a statement.
Indeed, the appeal notes, the situation is "initially difficult, a large chunk of the region was given to the enemy, the Ukrainian Armed Forces tried to break through by all possible means."
"The prisoners announce that the planned capture points were: Kursk and Belgorod. Of course, Russian units did not allow them to do this, the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was stopped," the regiment noted.
Now our task is to systematically return all 28 settlements, the fighters said.
"We are preparing for this, we have already managed to clean up something. This will not be an easy victory for sure, and everyone here on the ground understands this. From the command to the ordinary guys in the trenches. We are ready for anything," the appeal says.
