A Su-29 jet crashed in Leningrad Region on May 20. The Russian Investigation Committee commenced a criminal case on violation of the norms of air transport operation.
According to the Investigation Committee, the Su-29 jet took off from the Kummolovo Airport and crashed 300 meters asway from the runway. The pilot was killed in the crash.
