Yulia Tymoshenko: Ukrainian authorities are totally forging election outcomes

Outcomes of local elections held on October 25 are totally forged during the vote counting, leader of Batkivshchyna Party, Member of the Ukrainian Supreme Rada Yulia Tymoshenko has announced.

“They do not count the votes, they are forging them,” Tymoshenko announced at a briefing. She said, the process is being put off deliberately, in order to forge the election results for the benefit of the pro-presidential forces. “The General Prosecutor’s Office, the Interior Ministry are idle, everything is covered up, the forgery is everywhere,” she stated.

Meanwhile, she noted that her party will be the second in general outcomes all over the country. “However, we have no right for keeping silent. If the president announced fair elections, let him be responsible for those words,” Tymoshenko said.

As EADaily reported earlier, head of the Kiev unit of the Opposition Bloc Alexander Puzanov announced that the authorities in Kiev are deliberately dragging on the vote-counting process, but despite falsifications, the Opposition Bloc will pass the 5% barrier and will have a faction at the Kiev Council.
