Donetsk leader: Kiev practically announces preparations for war in Donbass

Kiev that is now carrying out a new wave of mobilization has practically announced preparations for new military actions in Donbass, leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko has said today, on April 23.

“In the whole world, in all times, mobilization practically means beginning of war, and Kiev practically has made an official announcement on its preparations to military actions. This is nothing but one more evidence of the ‘peaceful’ nature of the Ukrainian leadership who want not only destroy us, but turn Ukraine into a cemetery,” Zakharchenko said. Another mobilization wave would bring many new victims to Ukraine. He said that Kiev feels now satisfied with the fact that they managed to mobilize 50,000 servicemen, just like they had planned in the fourth wave of mobilization. He also stressed that Donbass spares no effort to continue the peace process.

“We are open for dialog for 24 hours a day. We are ready to sit to the negotiation table at any moment, listen to any proposals and start coming to an agreement,” Zakharchenko continued. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to deliver a new blow to Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics, which is clear from the intelligence data, he said.
