The first deputy chairman of the government of Transbaikalia, Buyanto Batomunkuyev, said that PJSC Neftemarket has been evading the conclusion of a contract for the supply of motor fuel for two weeks.
"In this regard, there is a serious shortage of fuel at the Neftemarket filling stations — this led to the shutdown of the strait for individuals at 20 filling stations of the network. In addition, the limit has been reduced at other filling stations of Neftemarket," the deputy chairman of the government said.
According to him, Transbaikalia, together with the federal authorities, will seek to fulfill all obligations by gas stations to supply consumers.
What is the reason for the refusal to conclude contracts for the supply of fuel is unknown. It is known that independent gas stations do not have their own refineries and buy fuel on the stock exchange or from other traders. The current crisis has led to the fact that independent networks cannot trade at the prices at which large oil companies sell.
