The daughter of an ageless Hollywood star refused her father's surname

The daughter of American actor, director, screenwriter and producer Tom Cruise and actress Katie Holmes officially abandoned her father's surname, taking the pseudonym Noel. This is reported by the Page Six portal.

"Suri Cruz officially broke off relations with her father, who lives separately. Twenty-year-old daughter of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes legally abandoned the name Cruz and changed it to Noel," the publication says.

According to public data, the daughter of the "Mission Impossible" star registered to vote in the state of Pennsylvania, where she lives, in October 2024 under the pseudonym Suri Noel, which indicates that this is her official name.

The publication believes that Cruz's daughter could have changed her last name in New York before moving to study in Pennsylvania. Noel is the middle name of the girl's mother.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married in 2006, in 2012 the couple divorced. Suri was born in April 2006, and after the divorce she stayed to live with her mother.

As reported by EADaily, to date, two children of actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have officially abandoned their father's last name — daughter Shiloh and son Maddox.

In June of this year, another daughter of the couple, Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt, applied for a surname change. The girl has not used her father's surname in official documents for several years. So, at the graduation celebration at Spelman College, where she received a bachelor's degree in psychology, she was introduced as Zahara Marley Jolie.

In July, the couple's daughter Vivien announced her desire to officially abandon her father's surname.
