The Georgian police fined a tourist who relieved himself at the wall of a temple in Tbilisi.
According to the Rustavi 2 TV channel, the violator turned out to be an Estonian citizen. He was brought to administrative responsibility. The amount of the fine is not specified.
The incident occurred on "Kote Abkhazi" — one of the main tourist streets of Old Tbilisi. The video was distributed on social networks. In the comments under it, thousands of users expressed outrage.
Meanwhile, Georgian journalist Lisa Gegechkori clarified on social networks that two men who urinated on the church were fined - these are Estonian citizens and Ukraine. She noted that the Georgian radical opposition, prior to the identification of the violators of the order, stated that the temple was allegedly desecrated by tourists from Russia
