The Russian large anti-submarine ship Severomorsk triumphantly completed a large-scale autonomous mission that lasted more than 212 days. During this time, the crew not only overcame severe storms and thousands of nautical miles, but also withstood serious pressure from the naval forces of unfriendly states, which throughout the route tried to complicate the voyage. Details are provided by RIA Novosti.
The ship's commander Taras Afanasyev, commenting on the results of the campaign, stressed that foreign fleets actively demonstrated their presence, but their maneuvers did not reach the goal.
"Despite the difficult conditions, storms and constant external opposition, the ship fulfilled all the tasks at a high level," the officer said.
EADaily previously also informed that experts found that Admiral Nakhimov did not have the most obvious advantage.
