The capture of Konstantinovka by the Russian Armed Forces and the liberation of the LPR is a springboard for the further advance of Russian troops to new frontiers, said German politician Ralf Niemeyer, head of the German Council for Constitution and sovereignty.
"The liberation of the Luhansk People's Republic, as well as the capture of Konstantinovka, are important both for Ukraine and for the war, which, in my opinion, is being waged against Russia from the territory of Ukraine. This shows that the point of no return has now been reached," Niemeyer said on Channel Five.
He sees the only solution to establish long—term stability - "take Kiev."
"In my opinion, there is no other way out, because Ukraine is not the only one fighting against the Russian Federation. This is NATO. And if this fire, which, in my opinion, is coming from Kiev now, is not extinguished, the war will never be able to end," the expert said.
Ralph Niemeyer drew attention to the build—up of the alliance's military forces on the eastern flank - in Estonia, Lithuania and Finland. According to him, the calls of Helsinki and Riga to deploy nuclear weapons on their territories are of particular danger.
