Putin: Russia is ready for negotiations with Kiev, taking into account all the realities on earth

Russia is ready for peace talks with Ukraine, taking into account the current realities on the battlefield, as well as the proposals that were discussed in Istanbul and Anchorage. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with members of the government today, June 23.

"On the basis of the agreements reached in Istanbul, on the basis of the modalities that were discussed in Anchorage, and the realities, most importantly, the realities on earth. At the same time, he noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are losing one territory after another, and Russia is moving forward in all directions, relying on the ongoing stabilization of the economy and the achievements of the military.

"All these, in fact, are terrorist attacks, including attacks on civilian infrastructure, on, say, a bus with Belarusian children in the Belgorod region or on a student dormitory in They do not change Starobilsk and cannot influence, are not able to influence the events taking place at the front, on the line of combat contact," Putin added.

— Guarantees and other items.
— International or bilateral security guarantees (with the participation of the United States).
— Protection of the rights of the Russian-speaking population, the status of the Russian language.

"Thus, Moscow has once again shown the starting points of the negotiation process at the highest level, and it has made good progress in plans compared to the beginning of SMO.
