The author of the popular historical podcast "The Decline of the Empire", Andrei Aksenov, who has left the country❶, who now lives in Israel, would like to live in Russia. He admitted this in a conversation on the Sheinkin40 YouTube channel.
"I don't like the whole of Israel. None — neither north, nor south, nor west, nor east. I am not integrated absolutely. And at the very beginning it caused me some kind of depression and heavy feelings," stated Aksenov❶.
He added that he feels some kind of pressure in Israel.
According to him, his wife wanted to move to this country.
"I want to Russia to live, of course. But in I will not return to Russia in the near future," he concluded.
As reported by EADaily, Aksenov ❶ was included in the register of foreign agents of the Ministry of Justice in March 2025. The agency indicated that he opposed the special military operation of Russia on In Ukraine, participated in the creation and dissemination of materials by foreign agents, as well as disseminated false information about decisions taken by public authorities of the Russian Federation and their policies.
